Payment Model

Learning Thru Movement is a fee-for service, private pay practice that provides one on one physical therapy and wellness services.

This business model allows me to provide individualized treatment sessions based on the unique needs of each individual without insurance restrictions, insurance company reviews, or visit limitations.

Payment Options

Payments can be made via check, cash, or Venmo. 

FSA/HSA and credit cards are also accepted plus a 4% service charge.

Patients are responsible for payment on the same day as service.

Out of Network Provider

Learning Thru Movement provides out-of-network physical therapy, meaning we do not directly bill insurance companies for our services. Upon request, we will provide a receipt with the amount paid and applicable therapy codes to submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.

Direct Access

Under New York State law, you are allowed to be seen by a Physical Therapist for 10 visits or 30 days, whichever comes first, before needing a prescription/referral from your physician. This is known as “Direct Access”. Therefore I also request you obtain a prescription from your primary care physician (PCP). We can provide paperwork explaining the therapy and associated diagnostic codes so your PCP is aware and can provide the necessary prescription.

Cancellation Policy

Learning Thru Movement provides one on one therapy sessions and has limited spaces for private therapy each week.  Your appointment slot is reserved specifically for you or your child alone.  Therefore, we required 24 hours notice of cancellation prior to your therapy session.  Late cancellations less than 24 hours in advance or no shows will be charge the full session rate.  Appointments may be rescheduled within the same week as the missed appointment if there is availability.
